The light installation by Josefine Lyche shows the colors of the rainbow distributed according to Fibonacci's sequence of numbers, where each new number is the sum of the two previous ones. The ratio between two consecutive numbers in the series approaches a specific number the further out in the series one goes, which ends in PHI (1.618033) or the Golden Mean. Translated, the number series describes the world as it was, how it is now and how it will be - and how these three time dimensions are connected. The system can be seen everywhere in nature; in cones, conch shells, in the growth systems of plants and in the human body. The gold tree on the end wall symbolizes how the Golden Ratio manifests itself in nature. The work speaks both to the rational, with the mathematical number sequence division, while the rainbow colors and the tree are seductive and magical. This again goes well with the fact that Krona houses both schools and cultural centers - knowledge and culture.
